Today, I think I shall cartoon.
Hello World!
Our time at The Center for Cartoon Studies is at an end, a very very sad end. We will be moving back to the big city next week and, in all honesty, are quite sad to be leaving all the great people in this wonderful community. We learned more than we could have ever imagined from both the professors and students and are extremely grateful to everyone. Y'all will be missed! Hear that CCS community! MISSED!
In any case, we present to you, the internet, Wall City, our thesis project.

Also, we graduated last week! Check it, miscellaneous photos from graduation!
The CCS class of 2008, with James Sturm and Michelle Ollie...
The Procession, replete with bagpipe player...
The Stone Age!
The Lambert Age!
JP and Jacie and some dude...
The Lost Boys...
J. Sturminator 5000 said some very nice words during the ceremony...
And so did Denis St. Denis presents Denis St. Denis...
Annnnnd so did Alison Bechdel (!), our commencement speaker...
Finally, we started sort of half-heartedly and very sadly packing up our studio space. Goodness, did we ever love having that studio. Chuck McChaz sat next to us all year and just about had his fill. But then he's one tough mother, so he was cool with that.
See? One tough mother.
What Else? well, today, we took good ole' Wall City on a walk around the studio. It LOVED seeing all the sights and meeting the locals.

I can't seem to say enough about CCS, really. Jason Lutes led our thesis studio this year and it was just awesome and amazing and it's only been like two weeks since we've seen him but miss him already. James, our very own school director, is awesome too... and so is Steve Bissette and Sarah Stewart Taylor... AND of course Michelle Ollie... we miss all of them fiercely. Too awesome, guys, TOO AWESOME!
Also, our day was rounded out by some enjoyable activities...
Cat walking...
And dill planting...
While Gabby supervised...
And Steve drove by shouting things at us.
Good day all around.
So, we guess that's it for now. We would post many photos and talk about everyone here, but don't want to be too much of a bore.
You can see more graduation photo stuff here.
More posts on graduation here and here.
Hope everyone is doing well out there in the big wide beautiful world.
Your newly certified correspondents from the dill patch,
Alex & Kim

That is an amazing picture of Chuck. He looks badder than all the Beasties combined.
Haha, is that the SAME box of Berry Berry Kix that was there in February?
It is, Sam! Amazing stuff, never goes bad! Nature's most awesome food, obviously.
